About

International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) was established in 1991 by M Alimullah Miyan and was subsequently recognized under the Private University Act (PUA) of 1992. It is the first private university established in Bangladesh. The initial planning began in 1989. Degree programs started in 1992 with agreement with Assumption University of Bangkok, Thailand. IUBAT is a full member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, and this extended formal recognition of IUBAT degrees in 35 countries or regions of the Commonwealth.

Eligibility
Eligibility: minimum GPA 3.00 in both SSC and HSC, and combined GPA 6.50
Engineering programs need the Science group with a passing grade in Higher Mathematics at HSC or equivalent
BSc in Agriculture needs the Science group with a passing grade in Biology at HSC or equivalent
Eligibility
Eligibility: O-Level 5 and A-Level 2, with minimum average grade point 2.5 at each level
Diploma holders need SSC GPA 3.00 and diploma GPA 2.75, combined GPA 6.00
HSC/equivalent passing years 2026, 2025 and 2024
Admission process is online application, fee payment, then written test and interview
